asks the following question on the Ask my Cards blog:

Hi Madame Seaqueen,

Have the Zigeuner cards have done the Reaction card layout. I am very lost my cards read like this;
SITUATION – Enemy
LEAVING – Death
COMMING – Journey
REACTION – WIDOW
I cant understand what there trying to tell me, if you could shed some light that would be great.

1reaction layout

1. Situation:

The enemy cards suggests a situation is around you which appears to be not in your best interest.  It could be someone who is not what they seem.  More than likely these circumstances have a way of lingering on with us even realizing it.  Often emotional strings still remain even if the person or situation has left our immediate lifestyle.

2. Leaving:

The death card is either welcomed or feared.  Since it falls in the spot of energy departing out of your life this means that something (job) or someone (relationship) no longer serves a good purpose in your life and it is just as well it is leaving.  The death card suggests the elimination of things which no longer are productive or fruitful like a dead end job or relationship.

3.  Coming:

What’s coming towards you is the journey card.  It can indicate actual travel (trip or change in location) away from that something or someone which is slowly passing out of your life.  If you move (home or job) you will have new beginning but will more than likely have to sever some ties of past familiarity.  People and situations are in our lifestyle but when change comes knocking on the door (as is represented by the death card) we usually say good bye to aspects of certain connections.

The journey card is good energy.

4.  Reaction:

Even though the widow card doesn’t give the impression it is one of great joyous reaction it means you could feel down about some things happening.  It also suggests making new connections which as an outsider initially are challenging to do.  As a reaction card the widow suggests you will be just fine but shouldn’t push anything -let it flow naturally and whatever the cycle is it will develop into a new one within a few months.

Question for You:

In your comment you stated you didn’t understand what the cards are trying to tell you.  Does the interpretation shed some light?  Can you apply some of the explanation to any areas of your life?   Let me know.

  1. Hi Madame Seaqueen,

Thank you so very much for Interpreting my cards. You are so accuret and YES! I can relate to the whole reading; I have left my husband of 15yrs of being in a terrible violent marriage, I have a lovely daughter to him, and that is where the ties lay. I do want to move house and also thinking of going overseas. I am now seeing alovely man with a beautiful heart and soul… I want to thank you you so much. This has helped a great dal to understand the cards meaning.

  2. Hi Madame seaqueen,
I have a question, if the sweetheart is positioned as a Reaction card what does that mean? The sadness card positioned as a comming, and Loss card positioned as a leaving and baby as a situation… from what I can tell is that I have maybe new beginings butI am experiencing a loss of some sort and that I am sad, for that loss. I am trying to Interpret the cards I dont know if I am a little bit close to what their saying I know I by you explaining to me I am getting to understand them a bit better. Thank you very much.xxx
